Healthy Homeschooling
It's all for Him!
Homeschooling provides me and my family with the most blessed life style. We can rise from bed at our leisure, do our chores before we begin a stitch of school, and begin our days with a full hour of worship. We can school for an hour and take a break to sit outside together and eat a snack. We can lay on the couch and read a good book like "Where the Red Fern Grows" and then spend the rest of the day focusing our lessons around the things we read about; raccoons, dog breeds, the Ozarks, saving money and finances. What a joy homeschooling is!
However, I realize that the joy of homeschooling can be robbed if I am dragged down, tired and worn out by poor eating and exercise habits. None of the above activities will seem like blessings if I am irritable, lacking in joy, and unable to work at an optimum energy level.
That is why I have provided these pages. For the things I have learned about health, nutrition, and exercise, I desire to share with others. For our health is a blessing and gift from God. And He has provided ways for us to protect and optimize our health. The life we live on this earth is His life, and if we would serve Him with all our hearts, we must give our eating habits and how we care for our bodies over to Him. For His glory do we get in shape.
